Meet Our New Employees

April 2023

We are pleased to announce that Lundan Lane and Gary Rosenberger will join Critter Sittin’ Sisters as part-time pet sitters.  They will both begin their journey with us May 1, 2023.   Lundan will be our main part-time pet sitter, and Gary will help out during peak times or when our schedule is unusually busy.

Three years ago we planned to hire Lundan, but labor laws kept us from making that happen.  Fast forward to 2023…Lundan reached out to us to let us know that she was still interested.  We were thrilled and are very excited to bring her onboard.  Lundan has an extraordinary love for all animals and has shown this through her volunteer work at the Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary for two years and Bluebird Farms for five years.  At the age of nine, while living in California, she sponsored a horse and volunteered at Oak Meadows Ranch.  In her free time she likes to research different animals and has uploaded this research on YouTube.  She currently lives in Loganville with her family’s three cats and three small dogs of her own.  She hopes to soon welcome some reptile friends too!  As mentioned, Lundan will be our main part-time pet sitter to include pet sitting, dog walking, and overnight stays.

Gary is one of our clients and lives in the same neighborhood as Val.  He is retired from the medical device field.  He is originally from Rhode Island but currently lives in Snellville with his wife, daughter and four cats.  As a child Gary developed his love for animals through his mother’s work with the ASPCA.  In his free time, he enjoys gardening and working around the house.  He also enjoys listening to old jazz music and is excellent at finding bargains!  As mentioned, Gary will be assisting with pet sitting as needed during excessively busy times.

NEW CLIENT INFORMATION/PROCESS

Our schedule is booking up 2-4 weeks in advance, and even further out for holidays and Spring Break. Keep this in mind when trying to get set up as a client with us. We are no longer take on new clients over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

When you reach out to us for your pet sitting needs, there is a process that we need to complete. We first need to make sure that you live within our coverage area. If you live within one of our limited coverage cities, then we will need your address. The next step is to set up a meet & greet. This is when we come to your house to meet you and your pets. During the meet & greet we fill out paperwork and get two sets of keys to your home (for those of you who use keys). Typically, keys are kept with us in a lockbox for your future pet sitting needs. There is a $15.00 fee for the return and/or pickup of your keys. The meet & greet usually takes about one hour and there is no charge for this.

Once you are set up as a customer, future pet sitting can be booked through phone, text, or email.

Payment is due on the first day that we start pet sitting. We accept cash, check, PayPal & Venmo.

We do NOT board dogs in our homes.

We do NOT offer overnight or extended stays in your home. We are offering 30-minute visits with your pets in your home. You may book as many visits per day as you and your pets need. Pricing is based on the number of pets and number of visits. Please visit the price page on our website.

2020 Update

We have not posted much on our website in a while.  Since then we have been dealing with the COVID19 pandemic, as all of you have.  We are still open and watching pets as needed.  We have also been running errands and other odd jobs for our current clients in order to stay afloat and busy.  We can’t thank our awesome clients enough for their enormous generosity and support.  We would not be staying in business without your help.  THANK YOU!  We are taking the precautionary steps to keep healthy and safe and also keeping our client’s homes clean and safe.  We are wearing gloves & masks and using hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes as needed.

We are still available for new clients who do NOT need an overnight stay.  We are just booked up with overnight clients.  So if you are looking for a new pet sitter to do one or several visits per day, we can schedule a meet & greet.  We still need to come to your home to meet you & your pets, to see the set up and routine, and to fill out paperwork.  During these times, we can have you fill out the paperwork in advance online; however, it is important for us to meet especially if you have dogs.  We will be cautious when meeting you by wearing gloves and a mask.

Currently we have been experiencing problems with accessing our Facebook page.  We are hoping to have that resolved soon.  That is usually a good place to interact with us.  However, the best way to reach us quickly is by email, phone or text message rather than message via Facebook.

We are hoping our lives get back on track soon.  Hang in there!

Book early for the holidays!

We wanted to remind everyone that we always fill up early for the holidays.  Currently our schedule is already full for Thanksgiving 2018.  Typically Thanksgiving fills up a month in advance!  If you don’t book early, then you might miss out getting on our schedule.  We still have openings for Christmas and New Years, so if you haven’t already made plans, do so now!

Book Early

We are already completely booked over Labor Day weekend!  We hope you have already made your plans.  Please be safe.  We are also already booked up the first weekend of Val’s vacation, September 15-17.  It’s important to book as early as possible.  Remember this when making your holiday plans.  Thank you for your business!
